Ranch One History:
Map to Ranch One on Genoa Lane
This map shows the location of Ranch One on Genoa lane. Meet with Bob Ellison from 11 a.m. to Noon on Friday and/or Saturday to learn more about Nevada's First Ranch.
Historic Dangberg Ranch:
Map to Dangberg Home Ranch on Hwy. 88 (15 minute drive)
This map shows the location of the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park about 7.4 miles south, off Hwy. 88 near Minden. Docents lead visitors through the entire main level, from living room to the cowboys’ dining hall, and reveal the history of Carson Valley ranching through one family’s private and public history. Visitors to the Genoa Cowboy Festival have a special invitation to tour the Dangberg Home Ranch all day Sunday. Each tour is about 90 minutes long for an exceptional fee of only $TBA for 17 and older, free for 16 and younger. CLICK HERE for more details about the Dangberg Ranch Tour.
